Hi everyone this is my first tutorial so be patient.....

ok I bought one of those storage boxes from Ikea and decided to decorate it and as my room has no specific style I thought when in doubt use Barbie. So anyway this is the box before I did anything

and this is the front

the sides and top

All I did was paint it all, then I got the pictures I wanted, stuck them down then covered it with varnish, you can use PVA glue however it is harder to clean as it goes all sticky!! For the front picture I took out the drawers then I just placed the picture on top and cut where the drawers ended! Simple as that!!!!

AND...

This is the magazine box that Ive made It's the same idea really just with a different type of storage!!!!!

Oh my goodness, creative genius at its best... and you make it sound SO easy!!! It looks fantabulous, but where did you get barbie pics big enough to cover the surface of all the drawers???

The giant pictures came from a Barbie book that i got in a charity shop! You can enlarge pictures from the web I suppose!

that wouldn't be such a great idea, unless they're hi-res images, they're going to get really pixelated. you'd be better off scanning printed images so they're of a better quality.

great decoupaging job!

How big is that thing? It looks like it's a dresser but then again a dresser couldn't sit on a table. Huh
