What disaster?? Beautiful purse and nice shrug to match. I wish I had the set, including earrings Wink

PS. Showed off my dress at the store yesterday. definitely overdressed for AZ, but I'm hitting Europe for 6 weeks in the summer Grin

Holy cow.  I knew that bag was awesome because I cheated and saw it in another post.  But everything else?!?!  Those are some crazy skills Smiley  I'm jealous  Tongue

Thanks, dabba - but I wouldn't call them skills... just luck. Everything there was a first for me so I was relieved that they came out as well as they did. I've never even made a basic tote so I was really worried! For anyone who was interested here is the post that dabba saw with the bag - http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=87246.msg841320#msg841320.

The little stamens from the flowers were made from fishing line I dyed using kool-aid - if you read a little further up in the post you can see how I figured out that fishing line could be dyed.

But anyway - I wanted to post pictures of what nabi sent me last night but I worked really late and didn't get home until well after dark. So.... Drum roll please...

Here are the intricately knit legwarmers:

and a picture of the whole package with a bag (my favorite colors) from Korea and some postcards from Japan, Korea, and Alberta (the one in the upper right from the Gopher Hole Museum)

I wanted to post pics of every postcard because there is such a variety and they are all really great but that's not fair to dial-up users so... sorry.

I am soooooo happy! Those legwarmers are so intricate it boggles my mind.

Thank you so much nabi!

The leg warmers are awesome. I can't even comprehend making something with so many designs and colors.

Good news, eternal_ukyou didn't flake!!! She just pm'd meand she is sending. So now Aphie doesn't need and angel. Ghostgirl and Cantafruit are the only people who need angels. You can send to aphie, but she will be receiving from her partner, so it would be nice if anyone could send to ghostgirl instead.
Thanks,
Chelsea

OMG- those legwarmers are amazing! How long did it take you to knit them?

Thanks so much to dabba and cantafruit! i appreciate you guys. Flakers are no fun (esp for your first swap, as I am sure you are all aware), and it's nice to know that such cool people are out there  Cheesy
