That is a great idea to ask other people from Japan to post on here! I know I'd swap again! Cheesy

Well, I think if we set up a formal swap, we'd ask people from the US and Japan sign up

I'm sooooo sorry. Ethnocentric twit, that's me.

Maybe if there is a crafter from Japan they could post what country they'd like to swap to?

lol thats ok
Just a suggestion:

She could send one or two LARGE packages to one of you (for those in the US who are swapping), and we could take out what we asked for, and ship the others for her ... that way she could do more swaps and not pay so much in shipping.

Whatcha think?

Dee
maybe we make it a round robinkinda swap, where you send out a package of japanese stuff, and evryone who gets it takes 2(?) japanese things they like and send 2(?) things of equal value/quality, so everyone gets stuff, and catisoutside gets a mix of all cultures/crafts!

I'm sending a lot of Japanese stuff in boxes to America and Canada for this swap, so of course if those who are already swapping with me don't like everything in their packages, they can send it on to others who may like it.  Most of the packages I send will have a variety of things and surprises inside, and of course I hope the 6 craftsters I'm doing swaps with will like everything they get...but I won't be offended if they want to pass something on!  Either way, there will be a lot of good stuff in there, I promise!

OK .. now I wanna play!!!   Cheesy

I just had a hysterectomy 4 weeks ago ... and need some stuff to pick me up.  I've always wanted to go to Japan and just walk thru the stores for hours ... will never get to do that .. so this will be the next best thing.

How do I go about swapping with somebody?  I live in upstate, NY ....

Hugs,
Dee

you can watch the commercial for it here:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=hg9bQPoUf_4

anyway, here are photos of some of the things she sent. it's night time and i had bad lighting so i wasn't able to photograph everything.

she sent me.. 2x bento boxes, 2x chopsticks, 2x drink pouch, 2x lunch bag, 2x bento box straps, 1x plastic fish soy sauce squeezers, 1x plastic grass (like you see in bento boxes/sushi boxes).. one set in red, one set in blue; and the the two premium bottles of ffxii potion ^^ <3 <3 <3

( you can go to my flickr to see larger photos -- http://flickr.com/photos/mmmfruit )

i am sending my package off this weekend and hope you receive it soon and will enjoy it as much as i enjoyed this one! (^o^)
