Washu: Do you really think you could make that dress for me?  I am about a size 4-6.  I can pm you my measurements if you want.  I will come back tonight ( tomorrow morning for you guys in the US) with some pics of the 100 yen shops and other stores so you can see what you want.  PM me with any special requests!

Ok, here's a really image-heavy gallery of SOME of what the 100 yen shops have to offer...Bento box sets, art stuff, mini furniture, quirky signs..and there is much more. I can also get you guys cool Japanese fabric from other stores that sell fabric by the yard.  BTW, I already got a bunch of stuff to surprise you guys with, and please let me know if you want anything specific, or something you see in the pics (I may have already bought it Wink ) The stationary/notepad stuff is killer cute/funny and I didn't post any close-up pics of it because I want it to be a surprise. Here goes, it's like you're virtual-shopping in the Hyaku yen stores! These pics were taken in Daiso and Can Do.

I'm just drooling! Wow! Why don't our dollar stores look like that??
Thanks for the pics!

I do have one unrelated question. For me to buy a Japanese felt craft book from ebay, it's like $35 US. Are they that expensive for you?

I think most of the craft books I saw at the one craft shop I went to today were cheaper than that, but still maybe the equivalent of $13-$20 US.  I'm going to a different shop tomorrow and can look for a Japanese felt craft book specifically. Could you find one on ebay that looks like the sort of thing you want and post the link here?  Then I can look for what you want.  Smiley

Oh.  I would love a Japanese sticker.  Not one with random English words, but one with Japanese characters.  I can make you a dress.  PM me with your measurments and color choices (print? solid?)  I can make that halter top dress or another dress if you'd like.

I would like Japanese fabric in return.  Grin
