I was thinking about that too lisiepeasie, i think maybe we should put addresses but without names, would that keep people unknown enough?
I was thinking that even the address could be a giveaway for some. Then it occured to me - just use someone who you know who lives in another town/state's address (check with them first to see if it's cool). That way the letter and the identity of Charlie would be safe.  Wink

Honestly, I think as long as people are not actively looking for who their letter writer is, the address isn't going to give much away. (i.e. you have to be actively looking for your swap partner for the address to giveaway anything - IMHO) Just because as craftsters where we're from doesn't come up much and even if it does, who files that info away in memory?

So exciting! Partners have been assigned! Just to clarify we only have one partner throughout this swap right? Your partner doesn't change every month?

Nope partners don't change.

Yay, I've received my partner! I'm excited. So we have to PM the organizers when we send out every month, right? Smiley

Heh, so many questions being asked. I'll ask one too.

We're putting our return address on the envelope, but not our name, right? Hopefully that won't give lots away.

I sorted all partners out last night but it was at 11:30pm so im really hoping there are no problems with them! Ive tried where i can to sort them out so that no one will know who they are recieving from and so that theyre partner will be the same age or roughly as them.

Im sorry i wasnt around checking this thread last night, it took me quite a while to sort out PMs and who would receive from who and by the time id finished i was too tired.

I think addresses but not names is needed from everyone so that there are no letters going missing and like peachsorbet said, so long as people arent actively looking for who their letter writer is we should all be fine  Cheesy

About the question of PMing, yes please PM me when you recieve/send out a letter so i can keep a record of who has sent and received, especially as im the only one that will know partners! I'll try and sort out putting feedback boxes on your profiles in the next couple of days, this is my first time organising and it will take some getting my head around i feel!

Im so glad to see people are so excited about this swap and getting their partners, its really great to see  Grin Cheesy Enjoy writing and receiving your letters!   Cheesy
