Hello Craftsters!

I whipped up a pair of bunny & chick egg cozies yesterday.  It's from a post from last year by kittenporn.  Kindly re-posted (sort of) by TheRhen in the archived Easter craft post....here's a direct link:

Easter egg cosy tutorial
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=27962.0

Anyway...here's my result

I put the row counter in there for scale...They take about 10 minutes from start to finish.  I'm planning on making lots more to give out as spring/Easter gifts.

Thanks for the easy tutorial Kittenporn!

Katie

Last year i made the chicks for Easter dinner so i decided this year to make the bunnies... but unfortunately i found another project with the knifty knitter.. little easter baskets!! they are the cutest darn things with idiot cord handles.. so just a few bunnies left to do & 6 more baskets.. fun fun fun!!

so far i've made 6 chicks & 7 bunnies...they'll be place cards for my family's easter lunch.  where did you find the basket patterns?  my knifty knitter just takes up valuable stash space....i'll have to do a little search for that one.  Thanks for the idea, Scream-a-little!

Actually Minniepearl, i sort of made up the pattern for the class i teach at Michael's. i make them on the little blue loom & they are just baby hats with a brim. then i make an idiot cord with 4 stitches & about 6 inches long.. bada bing that's it.. it's given me a way to use up some of that boring acrylic i have inherited & the bits of novelty yarns left over from other projects. they are super easy!!! we have a huge family dinner so i have made 15 already and just another 5 to do. i will post a picture of them later on.. so whats the best glue to use to attach the googly eyes?  i have never tried glueing those to yarn so i am unsure what would work the best.
thanks!!
