i received word that Tristia received her package, so here's what i sent. i hope it's ok to post this photo.


star candles and lolipops, both were easier than i thought. a pouch purse just big enough for a license and a few dollars for summer trips to get ice cream, a clock and hook with space stars, and a kleenex cozy, because we all need em, but we never have em. i like to put them in as many swap packages as i can. there was one other project that i wanted to do but couldn't work out in time to send so a person should be on the lookout during the summer. hee hee hee.

I recieved my package from U2smg yesterday. I recieved a great knit hat pattern from www.kategilbert.com, some great felt star stickies, stickers, scrapbooking ribbon, brads and punchouts, a little journal.  A nifty stamp, and a wicked awesome knitted wristlet.  hurray- its "star-ific"

yipee! yesterday, i arrived home to find the late notice for my water bill. what had been a $40 bill had blossomed into a $70 blight on my checkbook, all because my filing system is not up to code.  but no matter, because alongside the ugly note was a big fat package from jennickel!

inside it was full of great star things!

firstly, she packed so many great things into this super de duper knitted purse,

you knitters amaze me sometimes. then there was a star shapped pillow, it's like a tooth fairy pillow, but no gross teeth. so all of the perks of a pillow like that, but none of the cons. ans a super springtime scarf. it's knitted lace. with stars on one end.

Plus there was all sorts of other goodies and doo dads that i can use! another bookmark, because when a person has four or five books on at a time, they need a few bookmarks to keep track, and note  books. i needed note books because i'm so discombobulated, that i need to try to contain my life. the note books will help with things like keeping track of water bills.



the stard on the white notebook are inside plastic, so it's an interactive notebook. like that guy with the mustache made of metal shavings that you move around with a magnet. good times.

Yay! I'm so glad you like everything, Janer! I don't have any pictures, but take your time i guess, it's cool. I'm really proud of that notebook because it's the first time i've ripped the inside out, re-covered, and put the inside back in:)

-star fabric (a fun flannel), one of those plastic grid star thingys...what the heck are these called??? and two yarns and a needle for it, a mini journal, buttons, earrings (which I just had to wear to work yesterday!), stickers and funky paper and wire stars, a necklace, and starburst candy (what a great idea...I so never thought of that one!), a starry card that she wrote a note on, and she included some cute paper cupcakes because she saw that I was in the sweet treats swap.  Thanks so much, Babiestarlight!!!

that's moi in all of my accessories! Star sunglasses, a very cute purse that says "dream on" with a shooting star. red white and blue star earings and a fun necklace and bracelet! Oh and my favorite thing for some reason - a pink armband!



and the rest of the awesome goods! A heart with stars on it for me to paint, some wearable candy with stars on the package (yum!!). A moon and stars stamp, a mirror with stars, very nice! A stained glass shooting star and some fun funky black wooden rock stars.

a machine-embroidered shirt, crochet star denim shoulder bag, bright multi-colored crochet star, stickers, bookmark, iron on patches, buttons, fabric, beads and wooden stars with black and white designs!

Here's the pics of the stuff I sent to u2smg:


All together! There's all kinda stuff in there. Since we do most of the same crafts, I thought I'd send craft supplies, so I included some stamps, paper stars, stickers, a notebook, socks, handmade knitting needles, some stich markers, a zipper pouch, a bookmark, some chocolates that I found at World Market with celestial designs on the wrappers. I dunno what else...there's a bunch of stuff!


Close up of the knitting needles. It was my first time making them...I hope they were OK! I added fimo ends with a star bead glued on top and painted her name on them with a little stripe and a star.


Close up of the pouch so you can see the starry inside. You can also see the bookmark in the background a bit better. It was just a bookmark that I bought that you are supposed to add your own beads to.
