Woo hoo!  I just finished the sleeves last night, and I am ready to start the button band!  I think I will pick up more stitches to make it tighter... sounds like good advice.
I'm using a worsted weight also... just check your gauge Wink

So here she is!  I really like this sweater!  The only things I would change when I knit this again (and I will knit this again!)  would be to make the torso a bit longer, and make the button holes a little smaller.  Or perhaps pick up more stitches for the button band as someone else suggested.  Overall, tho I really love it.  Its super warm!

Very classy knit.  Great job.  I wish I could do that.

I am in love, for sure. Is that black or chocolate brown? My screen's not always color-reliable. Great work!

I  made it in black.

Mods: added some rows for length on the body, used short rows for shoulder shaping and left stitches live to graft later, and only had 4 instead of 6 buttons.  That's it!

I used a kitchener rib bind off on the button bands, so if anybody is in the process of doing that, I highly recommend that bind off.  It is so lovely and gives it a very professional finish.  Sure it takes a little longer than a regular bind off, but it's worth it.

Knitrelief... How have you found the Wool of the Andes to be wearing? I'm pondering making another sweater in that yarn.

Does anyone have any seaming tips to help prevent weird boxy shoulders?
