This is the best book - having said that, I got it ages ago and still haven't got round to making any! And I even have a perfect pair of socks waiting!

Dang, I havn't posted ten times yet....but I will, oh will I ever.

So here is my first post as a craftster.  I made this sock monkey for a very good friend and coworker that is expecting her first child, not finding out the sex, and moving from OK to Pensacola, Florida at 8.3 months pregnant.  Whew, she is a busy lady.  I will miss her and wanted to do something special fro her and her hubby's first.

The sock was extra fuzzy, almost like angora.  I also made the "warm snuggly", aka satin-backed, flannel hankie,  to go along with their stars theme.  It was clutched by the monkey upon delivery. The diaper and hat are removable, and I made him...or her, a little navel.
