When I learned to intarsia knit last fall, I made bad ass patches.  I found a bunch of free cross stitch fonts and even an intarsia alphabet generator online when I was doing them, but now can't seem to find them.

Go intarsia!

AWESOME.

i love when people actually knit cool stuff with intarsia instead of big ugly landscapes or puppy dogs.  rock on.

ps- and does that say "porno homo" or "pomo homo"?  either way, it's mighty excellent.

good use of the intarsia. I never really had a liking for those nasty intarsia sweaters even tho they take alot of skill. U found a good use!!

PORNO v POMO:

One of the downfalls about these being my first pieces is that I didn't really have a handle on how important chunkier fonts are to intarsia.

It is supposed to read POMO HOMO--but I had a buyer who wanted it if it read PORNO.

thanks!

These are awsome! I'm all for non-traditional use of craft techniques, even though I do appreciate traditions quite a bit. It's all about creating new associations for the craft, right? Anyway, these are very cool. How would you attach them to something? Just stitch them on? They would also make cool wristbands, don't you think? ^_^
