This shirt was too big on me, but I loved the design at the bottom front of the shirt.  I was going to make it more fitted by cutting some ties into the back, but was a little hazy and tired this morning and ended up snipping on the side instead of the center back.  I freaked out because my sewing machine took a fatal bite and I had no way of sewing up the sides.

The best accident happened; I laid one of my good-fitting camis on top of the shirt (lining up the bottoms of both shirts) and cut the tee the same shape up to the armpit.  Then I cut at a right angle to the outside, leaving a wide band like an off-the-shoulder top.  I turned the shirt inside out, lined up the sides and poked holes through the front and back every inch or so.  I cut ribbon-width strings out of the excess and threaded them through the holes in each side.  They are knotted under the "sleeve" and double-knotted at the bottom.  The top is not hemmed and falls neatly and naturally near the sternum.  I LOVE NO-SEWS.

Here 'tis, with a black cami underneath (I can totally wear it without, as well):

That's very cute! My dance team made some similar ones a while back but a lack of crafting skills on the part of the rest of the team made them turn out a little scary. Anyway, it's darling!

Now the wintertime is coming,
The windows are filled with frost.
I went to tell everybody,
But I could not get across.
Well, I wanna be your lover, baby,
I don't wanna be your boss.
Don't say I never warned you
When your train gets lost.
