Putting the zoom option on the pictures of your clothes just makes it easier to steal your ideas.
For example: I liked this dress.
http://www.anthropologie.com/jump.jsp?itemID=9743&itemType=PRODUCT&iSubCat=1410&iMainCat=17
I liked it in the area of $30. I certainly didn't $148 like it.
So off to Walmart for me. They have this nice knit stuff. Jersey, but in a tube. It's very nice for, oh I don't know... bubble hems?
Anyway.
For under $20, I copied the dress, and got this:

It's so comfy that I don't ever want to take it off.
*goes romping through snowbanks in dress*
Oh since I'm actually making a post, I should also mention the purse I made a few months ago:

I used the jordy bag tutorial, and I made the outside out of some old cords I had... I just sewed the two different colours together (which was mindbogglingly tedious) and etc etc.
OH and since I'm wandering off track already, here's a skirt I made for a friend:

Some fancy little wrap skirt... I ended up embroidering this tree:

on the bottom edge.. obviously I hadn't started it yet in the first picture.
So yeah. thats enough project-posting for me.
For now... *eyes up anthropolgie.com*

Oh my cow, HOW OFTEN DO I DO THIS?

(so very often)

Besides, as much as I love anthro.com their stuff can always be improved too, yes?  Yes.  So it's not ripping off, it's... improving.  Or.  Teaching myself new stuff.  Or.  ...shutup.

Love your work.  Loooove.  The tree embroidery?  So.  Gorgeous.  Is it by hand or machine?  Looks machine, you're too cool for school AND!

Love the fact that you said 'romp'.

I steal you now, mkay?  Mkay.

That is so cute! I love the embroidery. So cute. trees are a classic, huh?

Whenever I'm in the mood to sew something, I usually end up searching anthropologie for inspiration. they let you zoom in so close- what were they thinking? Wink
