Hey! I made this is one of my craft classes when my teacher showed us how to turn a shoe box into a bead loom. It is very simple and fun once you get the hang of it. It is not quite finished yet but this is basically all there is to it!


Tell me what you think and if you have any patterns for it. I have been looking for an ipod case pattern!

Can you please share how to make the loom? I want to try this, but unsure if I want to buy one.

Well all you do is take the lid of a shoe box and buy beading thread... i used size D. My design was 13 beads across so i taped the thread to the middle of the back of the box and wrapped it around 14 times so that each bead will have its own gap to rest in. Thread your needle and put your beads on. Take the bead and go underneath the thread then pop each bead up into its own gap. Go back through the beads making sure that your needle is above the vertical thread. I know that this sounds really confusing... i will take pictures showing how this is done. Sorry if I wasnt much of a help! Undecided
