any idea what the stitch patterns called? and can you tell us what magazine (name and month/year)?

Anyone know how I might search for a similar pattern online?  I've looked a little, but I don't know what to call it, except 'daisy' and then I get flowers!  It's such a pretty pattern, I thought it would look great as a scarf.  Wink

that's really sweet. love recycling yarn! could you skip the horizontal petals and do a ch 1 instead and then a sc or dc?

Yeah, I'm not too sure if that could work, because the petals are quite long, but thanks for the tip! I might just have to leave it how it is.

No, I think it is an acrylic baby weight yarn - I recycled it from a big jumper so I'm not sure.
