Inspired by knitted Wonder Woman power bracelets I saw here, I decided to crochet a set of bracelets and a headband for myself. The project was put on hold for ages when I recieved a wonderful swap package from Geek-Pride containing a knitted set (oh how wonderfully stretchy knitted things are!), but I finally decided I should probably finish them, so here they are:

http://tk.files.storage.msn.com/x1pAdjo0uCo2H0bGCQAMvrPzRWSlYqTIkbMgHO_blKkZyrylW3rszorMbbsD92xnu_tugbEm_7Nox9S6gTTdKI7jgzew_SeEQqQ0IWy-ojFf-5W1gs4_PC4ssFuXln0QV7FJycl2vsj0dYPqzeeE0F0erjMon-0vAMF

I originally planned on crocheting the stars in, but I didn't like the way it looked so I cross-stitched the stars instead.

Here is the headband on my head:

And a bracelet on my wrist:

And here is the whole set modelled by the lovely Wonder Woman herself:

There isn't really that much stretch in them - the bracelets are a mission and a half to get on because of this, but no one said being Wonder Woman was easy!

Nice job!  If you decide to make them again, try crocheting vertically around the wrist instead of horizontally.  Does that make sense?  You could also add a few ribs in the back to make the fabric more stretchy.  (Crochet in the back loops only.)

Sometimes it's knit and sometimes it's crochet.

There will always be people who say mean words  because you are different, and sometimes their minds cannot be changed. There are many more people who do not judge others based on how they look or where they are from. THOSE are the people whose WORDS truly matter.

Yeah, she's a lovely person, that Wonder Woman! Wink

Thanks for the nice comments everyone! I'm thinking of submitting my pattern to CrochetMe or something.
