Our flowers are not up yet in Virginia, but I'm wanting some sort of spring action in the front yard. I was walking my dog and saw a house where someone had tin pinwheels made out of old soda cans on stakes in the front yard, and they were AWESOME 9twirly twirly twirly in the breeze). I tried to sneak up close to get a better look at how they were made, but my dog started going nuts and I had to leave. Has anyone made whirligigs or pinwheels for windy days before? I'm pretty inept with power tools but I can handle tin snips and a little bit of sawing.... any advice on how to would be greatly appreciated!
