What kinds of spray paint can be used to stencil on fabric??  Does it have to be fabric spray paint or can you use the kinds that's all purpose? please tell me I've been wondering for sooooo long

if you used krylon spray paint does it wash ok and doesnt it crack or split your image at all? im thinking about using spray paint for some tshirt designs but want something thats fairly durable. bit stuck on which type of paints to use on fabric.any advice on which paints to use would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for the same answer!
I CAN screenprint, but with spray paint I could make one here and there instead of trying to print in bulk.

Nope, it doesn't crack or anything. If you spray too much your image/stencil will crack & bleed, though. As for paint, using cheap acrylics mixed in with some textile medium will work wonderfully.

I bought some pretty cheap fabric spray paint at Micheal's today, mostly out of curiosity.  When I use it, I'll let you know how it goes Wink

I used Krylon once and it faded after I washed the shirt about 3 times, but I didn't heat set it after I stenciled.
Maybe you should iron over it to be safe.
