Awww, I'm sad that your not coming to Baltimore, or anywhere nearby!  I was in Atomic Books last weekend and your book was right on their front display table.

all of us midwesterners should start a petition to get Leah to come out here!  There are a lot of craftsters in the Chicagoland area.  You really should come.  To be honest, I'd be more excited to meet you than to meet Debbie Stoller, and thats saying a lot!   Grin

Debbies only get respect in the knitting world.  How unfair is that?

Because Poe wrote on both of them.

Anyone up for a Jasper Fforde swap?

Awww.... I would *love* to come to Chicago! And the other place I really want to go to is Baltimore. I might just have to use this as an excuse to take a couple mini-vacations!

I think the reason why my publisher ended up choosing so many west coast cities is that the "book tour" is sorta built around trip to San Diego that I already had planned (to go to Comic-Con!)

So stay tuned to the schedule you see here in case I add more cities:

I think...

For a mega-craft-challenge-of-all-challenges...

Whatever city the winner lives in, you should agree to visit them/a crafty shop in their city.   Grin

It'll be crafty idol!  I'll throw a parade if I have to.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned Bucketworks in Milwaukee, WI but it's an awesome place.

They do a lot of crafty and artsy stuff there, and there would be plenty of room - that place is huge! - here is a link for their tour -

I would go and hang out all day at a book signing! Meeting other craftster folk at bucketworks would be like a dream come true!

I know all the dates are set and everything but if you ever add cities this place is great! And it's only a short drive/train trip from Chicago.

I used to run the Education Department at the Mattress Factory in Pittsburgh, PA, and am the one who organized last year's Media Swap Meet and programming with the awesome Mobilivre.
I am still doing freelance work there, so I'd be happy to make the connection for you!
Would be a great place to hold it, since the museum is also now organizing a Craft Factory
twice a year.  The next one is Saturday, December 2:
