Yay! I got the most wonderful package today from BlooCanoe!  She totally spoiled me and sent me TWO of my wishes!  She made me some very cool fabric/ribbon cuffs that snap AND she knitted me the most fabulous pair of fingerless mitts!!!!  fingerless mitts are my equivalent to the usual shoe or purse obsession.....a girl can never have too many pairs.  She used this yummy blue and white yarn that looks denimy when knitted all up!  Bloo, I hope you post your pics, I will post some action shots when I get a chance, but it might not be for a couple of days!!!

thank you again Bloo!

I'm so very glad you like everything, knottydottie!
Here is a pic, since I could easily fit these into my poor, abused scanner (you should see the crafty stuff I keep trying to shove into my poor scanner):

ps. I realize that everything looks bloo blue, but the bottom cuff is black and grey, honest!  Wink

You guys are gonna be envious when you see the lovely take-out binder that mjadams created for me!!!  Its brilliant!  Without further ado, here is what she made for me:

I love the colors (blues, oak and reds) and it matches my kitchen perfectly!  The cover is done with paper, fabric and stickers.  The saying "Let them eat take out" is perfect Smiley  There are individual plastic slots for me to put my menus and keep them clean.  Ive already started adding some (i.e. whatever I could find in my utility drawer) of my menus to the binder.  By the end of the week, I will have freed up more space in my drawers for more miscellaneous junk Tongue   Here's an action shot:

She also sent me the following accessories for the binder:

Lets see.  Star stickers (to rate the restaurants), vellum stickers, OHP markers, clippy doodads to mark off my favourite restaurants (or perhaps I should just mark them Monday through Friday and plan my entire weeks worth of take-out food???) and food-themed erasers.

To top it off, she totally spoiled me with a Hello Kitty surprise and a Tare Panda surprise  Shocked

Thank you mjadams for the wonderful swap package!  I love everything  Kiss

We have a menu binder at work too! Of course, it's nowhere near as awesome as that one though! Great job, mjadams! (Hmmm...some of that paper looks oddly familiar! Wink )
