I'm inspired! I love those cloth crates you see in storage areas of stores, but this is so much neater!

Thanks for the instructions too! It is simple when you explain it, but it would have taken me a while to puzzle out exactly how you did that. Smiley

I love the bag and the first picture of it with the contrasting yarn is a work of art. I seriously think you could offer that pic to a magazine or website. (if you're a professional photographer and everyone else on Craftster already knows this Embarrassed well, just humor me.)  I really do love the picture.  Oh...and the crate! (and the shelf it's sitting on).

This is great -- I love knit and crochet vessels/containers and yours is fabulous. I guess it doesn't matter too much, but do you know what kind of yarn it was?

Also, the stitching that you did on the corners... is it just a whip-stitch or did you do some fancy crochet number there? (Excuse me -- I'm still trying to break into the World of Crochet)

Thanks, but no, nothing like a professional photographer...! Wink However, I'm  always careful when I take pics to really show well the work so I'm glad you appreciate...

Nope, no fancy crochet number, I'm not enough of a crochet expert for this either !! Just plain whipstitch.

That is very cool. I really like it! I'd make one if I had the patience - how long did it take you?

oops, sorry I forgot this part of your question... It's probably pure wool, but really rough, as in there was little bits of straw in it... with maybe some other natural material (hemp ?) mixed together. I don't really know, but you get the idea..

It took me about ..maybe 10 days to 2 weeks altogether. I could only work an hour or two on it everyday, but on the other hand it was nice because it's such a mindless project, so you can do it while watching tv ... or your attention-demanding tots.. !!  ;-)

This is so beautiful (not to mention genius)! I am definitely making one right away, as I have a whole whack of bright green Lopi lying around that I think would be perfect. Thanks for the tut!

I just love your crate, I've started one about an hour ago, and I am going to make a few of these since I have so much yarn I'm having a problem finding places to put it, it's taken over our house Roll Eyes  Thanks for all of your instruction. Grin  Carolyn
