Tom's first Birthday cake.
Not to eat, obviously... but I thought it could be a keepsake and I intend to make one every year, until he's old enough to tell me to just quit it, mom.

Unfortunately you can't smell it, but it has a nice cranberry filling that is actually really lovely (thanks to a Muji scented candle)

PS
I just say biscuitbear's piece of cake: lovely!! I think I may also use ribbons next time, they add a very nice touch.

hey samurai! see this foot and this foot? this foot is for booting bottoms of boys who don't obey. this foot is for stuffing in your eye, an idea i think i like very much. so, samurai, don't play footsie with me.

That is lovely and such a sweet idea - which I had thought of it when my little one had her first birthday.
