I found some "boa" scarves at Wal-mart on sale for 50 cents each.   They are made of a very soft acrylic and rip out easily.  I'd say they are a bulky weight yarn.  I went back and bought 10 more!   Go, hurry, run fast to your nearest Wal-mart before they are gone!  They were in the scarf section of my Wal-mart, not the sale isle.

I had to share my find with all of you!

OK, it's me again.  This yarn is soft and pretty but it's a pain in the ass to roll into balls.  Wanted to let everyone know so no one yelled at me after going out to buy it!   Grin

I did this with a poncho I found in a charity shop the other week. The poncho looked brand new, I guess an unwanted Xmas pressie, as it had a nasty looking bukly neck on it.

I got it for about £3.00, took it home, ripped it back and got 400grams of what I can only describe as a softer acrylic version of Collinette Point Five and Point One mix (its a double stranded yarn).
Its in cream/beige/mauve/purple colours. Its beautiful.

Happy?? Moi??  Grin You betcha!!  Grin

Now, just what to knit with it?? I was thinking of the 'Boobholder/ Minisweater' from Glampyre... but dunno, will have to check the guage. Any ideas??  Huh

What you gonna do with your Wal Mart bargain??   Cool

Short Stuff-  You're yarn bargain sounds beautiful.  You gave me an idea....to make the Glampyre Bulky Cardigan with this yarn.  I'll have enough to make an afghan, I think!
