Hmm... Smited again... Smote again??... Smitten again??

So I went to bed last night at 8:00 pm because this horrible flu came out of nowhere and hit me like a ton of bricks. And then I woke up this morning looking forward to just staying under 15 layer of covers all day long but alas, some big 'ol database corruption had happened at 10:00 pm last night and it took 8 hours of running various diagnostics to get it all right again!   Angry

I wasn't going to write this message because all I really want to do at this moment is sleep! But I thought y'all might want to know what happened.

Anyone have any super-secret remedies for feeling flu-y and like you're gonna puke your brains out? Cry

-- Leah

P.S. My plan in the not-too-distant future is to start investigating how much it will cost to hire someone to handle many of the technical aspects of Craftster like configuring the server and database to handle such a large forum. Craftster is so large -- and growing all the time -- that it's time to bring in the big guns!

thank you so much for fixing it, leah. also - there are these great ginger candies that gravol makes that i found work AWESOME for getting rid of nausea (if you can recruit someone to go get them for you).

I'm glad Craftster is feeling better, but we need to work on you feeling better! Emetrol is a miracle OTC drug. Lemon flavor is better, don't do the cherry.  Tongue

*Big Hug* (with face turned away for germ-avoidance, LOL). Ginger tea is good for digestive ailments, but it sounds like you need rest! Keep your liquid intake up and remember that 47,000 crafters adore you!

Get well soon!
(I meant you, Leah, but the database could use some of it too.)

Sleep Leah, sleep! Sorry no magic cures from me. Just lots of rest. I agree that ginger is good for queasy feeling stomachs, I like mint too. Mint tea seems to get rid of nausea for me. I think you need sleep more than either of those, though. Thanks for fixing craftster even though you're sick. I hope you feel better soon. Now go to bed!  Grin
