I stumbled onto this site the other day and have fallen in love with the idea.  I think they are just beautiful!  I thought I'd pass it on, just in case some of you are interested in doing this.  I plan to create a lot of these to create pathways through my garden and yard.

Does anyone have ideas for other leaves you can use?  I was wondering if squash leaves would work.  They get pretty large.

Wow, that's a good idea. It looks very complicated, though. I'm from Florida and palm fronds are pretty big. I wonder if those can be used. Kinda like a tropical feel.

I love those... I've been meaning to try that for a while, I saw instructions and a lot of examples at gardenweb, I think the people there have tried just about every kind of leaf!
burdock, taro, maple, gunnera, I think about any nice big leaf would work. I love how the veins take so well in the casting. Definitely on my "I have to try that" list!
