So I was at the art boutique of the National Art Gallery of Canada and I saw these fancy-pants switchplates selling for $12.95 (all figures CAN$): http://www.gallery.ca/images/jackson_switch_plate.jpg. You know, a print of a Group of Seven or Monet painting that's been glued to a switchplate. "Twelve-ninety-five?" said I with a derisive sniff. "I don't think so. For crying out loud, I can do that for cheap."

So I did.

By cheap I mean a 29-cent switchplate, a little printer ink and a little Mod Podge. Oh yeah, I also camouflaged the screws with a little paint. And although you may think the corners look a bit rough, they're actually neater than the $12.95 switchplates' corners.

Whoa, I absolutely love that; the colors are wonderful and the paint job on the screws is expertly done.  I would totally believe that you bought that plate at a fancy schmancy boutique.  And the corners don't look rough at all to me! Really amazing job.

Yep! Very easy.

Badger's pretty good too... And I realise 1/2 the book's about Toad but I could never bring myself to like him. He was just so pompous and irritating.

I LOVE IT!!!!  Toad is obnoxious!  He has to be based on a real (person) toad.

I have a 12.95 light switch of the starry night a friend bought me at museum store.  I like yours better.  Wanna trade?

didn't think so.
