Bethie has received the angel package I sent her, and she asked me to post pictures.  I'm glad you like everything, Bethie!

The package consisted of:
-Four placemats made of "summer drinks" fabric
-A wrist cuff from the same fabric
-A crochet clutch lined with that fabric and with a fabric flower (can you tell that I liked that fabric?!)
-A pair of crochet fingerless gloves (Bethie and I were room mates in college, and she always seemed envious of my fingerless gloves.  I thought it was time I made her a pair.)
-Some martini/daquiri stickers
-Magnets with pictures of pin-up girls sitting in giant martini glasses (I thought that was funny, so I had to make them into magnets)
-And six coasters that tell the story of the night Bethie tried to make an ice ring for the punch bowl at one of our college parties.  They read as follows:
*How to Make and Ice Ring in 5 Easy Steps
*Step 1: Dont' ask Beth how to do it.
*Step 2: Try asking all of your room mates.
*Step 3: Realize that they don't know how to make one either.
*Step 4: Cobble together something involving a kitchen scale and Tupperware.
*Step 5: Enjoy!

Those magnets are so cute! I'll let the mods know you're about your angel status.

Yes...Gloria (quincy) rules!  This angel package is amazing.  I really loved everything, and I love that I got personalized content!!  The magnets made me laugh (and the coasters) and I was just saying on her website how much I loved the pattern of that clutch.  I got my very own!  Plus the fabric is adorable (as you can probably tell).

So yay for finally getting alcohol swap stuff - everyone give props to Quincy's awesomeness!

And thanks lady4feet for organizing the swap and getting me an angel!

Actually I meant to ask, Glor - what was the base of the coasters made out of?  That material?  It's nice and hard/durable but really light.  I would like to use it for other crafts but I don't know what it is!

It's this innovative space-age material called wood.  You can find it at AC Moore in the "random wood shapes section."  I guess when you paint it and cover it in stuff, it's hard to tell what it really is.  I sealed it over with acrylic sealer so that it wouldn't take on too much moisture.
