Still one question, are you not always sliding the same stitch, and wouuldn't that just stretch out?  Or with puttin the marker on the needle will that stitch be changing and it won't be a problem?  I'm going to see my resident expert tonight and hopefully I'll get this cleared up.

Hi Dara,
That stitch will change every time you get to a new round!  Sometimes it's hard to picture how this stuff works until someone shows you or your actually do it!  Best of luck!

Wow, do they always felt with those cool wavy fibers hanging out? I've only felted with kureyon, and it's much "flatter" looking.

It actually was quite fuzzier; I had to trim a lot of it.  Felt kinda silly doing so!

That fuzziness is because of the mohair content of Lamb's Pride.

I'm working on a much larger version of this bag right now.

Did anyone else find that they didn't use all the recommended yarn?  I haven't even finished the second skein and still have the third of the main colour left.

teehee, thank you!  Grin I used Lamb's Pride Worsted in Oregeno for the top part and Amythest for the bottom.  They look kinda dull right here but the purple is gorgeous in real life!

lamb's pride is 85% wool and 15% mohair, which is what gives it that fuzzy halo.

Here's my felted bag. I love how fast the pattern knits up and the felting is so fun to watch! I'm slightly concnered about how it'll look with my heavy keys and wallet in it!

Yup, I only needed 2 of the main color and 2 for the contrasting.  Acutally, there was enough of the contrasting color left for me to use it as a contrasting color in 2 other purses!
