My first recon! I have been a huge procrastinator lately, and have not made anything for ages. So I finally made this today in about 3 hours! (I'm slow okay! & running up and down stairs every 5 minutes takes up a lot of precious time...)
I kind of made it up as I went along, taking ideas from things I've seen. It's not that special, but I'm pretty proud of it! But... there were many screw ups in the process of making this...
First, I resized the sides. I drew out the armhole and everything, planning it all out. And then I started sewing it and sewed one whole arm hole before I realized that I had to keep that open so my arm could actually go through...
I was hesitant to cut up my teal hoodie, but it's too small, so I had to make it into something, right?
The grey shirt is my little brothers, I stole it from his closet...  Wink

Here we go!:

On my dirty carpeted floor

A close up of the sleeve. I had quite a few problems with the sleeves, because the materials were so different. The teal was very stretchy, and the grey wasn't at all! I also kept cutting one of the holes smaller than the other, so there is some gathering here and there... and the shoulders aren't where they're supposed to be.. but I like it anyways  Cheesy

A close up of the hood. I just sewed it inside the collar.

There! I hope you guys like it, I sure do! Please comment!

If I could I would shrink myself

but I am too weak to be your cure.

I really like it! The colors are really cute together. It's a good job of being a recon but not looking too much like one..ya know?

I'm assuming you mean the bottom grey part.. I just cut off the edge of the grey shirt's sleeve [cuff], and sewed it on to the bottom of the blue one... the sleeve is basically two parts I sewed on to one another, it was pretty simple.

Thanks everyone for all the compliments!! Makes me want to sew some more...
