Ooh.. Hobby Lobby is terrible! My mum and I can never seem to go there without dropping like $90 minimum lol: "Look! Metal purse frames...variegated embroidery floss! beads! tacky gilded baroque face mirrors with cherubs!Remnant FABRIC!!"
I agree...the music they play is pretty awful Undecided

There are a pair of lovebirds in our local craft shop.

They squeak.

I have come up with a strategy to save myself from Hobby Lobby. I leave my credit cards, checkbook, and debit cards home. Estimate the cost of what I'm going in for and only take that much cash with me. Because if I only take $20 in there with me thats all I can spend. Its way too easy to go way over budget in there lol.

I LIKE their music!

I must be their target audience.

I am convinced that heaven is going to be one, big Hobby Lobby (well, a Hobby Lobby that magically has quality, natural fiber yarn...this is heaven after all).

Sadly, the closet ones to me are an hour away--one an hour to the north, the other an hour to the south.    Cry  For the sake of my wallet, it's probably just as well.

I was positively giddy when we got a Hancock Fabrics, though  Grin

Making an effort to use proper English and not 'net slang makes me much more willing to respond to your post.

There's a hobby lobby less than 5 miles from my house...it's all I can do to refrain myself from spending all I have on ribbon and yarn, haha

I believe in the radical possibilities of pleasure, babe.

the first time i went to hobby lobby was when i was up at my cousin's house last november. we spent 2 hours in there. it was amazing. i have since found out that there is one about 45 minutes away from me in toledo, OH (i'm in southeastern michigan), and i pretty much refuse to go until i have an excessive amount of money to blow on crafty goodness!

i'm so old that i remember Aleene's (the tacky glue lady) had a show on TNN and the girls from Hobby Lobby were just sooo southern and funny.  Sadly we do not have Hobby Lobby here in CA (san diego).

when i was in atlanta, evacuated from the hurricane, i discovered Garden Ridge.  i'd have to work there just to afford my habit!  if there's one near you it's like the home depot of all craft and home dec. stuff!
