I don't know how many other people on here read comics, but would anyone be interested in a comic book or superhero swap?

I would be interested!  We actually had such a swap before, which I participated in.  It was called the "super swap," and the gallery is here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=52517.0

I would be interested in this swap, but this is the third time in 5 min. I've posted that! To many good swaps!

do it!!!!!!!  i don't follow comic books too closely, but i still have a love of all things super.  is anyone else excited for the new superman movie btw?  if it's as good as the reinvention of the batman franchise, i'll be a happy camper!  anyways, i'd like to do a swap of this theme, if there was one.

Boys Knit Better

Am I the only one who vastly prefers Marvel comics to DC comics?

I think that if we were going to do a superhero swap it would be better if it were specific to either the Marvel or DC universe. Or then there's the other option of doing a NON-superhero Comic swap, i.e. Harvey Pekar, Daniel Clowes, etc type of stuff.

I'm partial to DC, but my bf likes Marvel, so I end up reading stuff from both.  I've got a soft spot in my heart for the bat-verse, but I also like Daredevil, and I read some X-men (but I can't keep up with all of the x-books, as that would be insane for me).

I wouldn't mind if the swap was more general, not limited to Marvel or DC.  People could list in the questionaire specific characters they prefer, and people could be matched up as best as possible.  In the last such swap we had I was matched up with a Vertigo fan.  Although I'm not into Vertigo that much, I had read some Preacher, and it was fun to go digging into stuff I wasn't that familiar with.

Agree with quincy, that just asking q's at the beginning would be better than limiting the swap itself.  and on that it's fun to research stuff you're not as into.

but i'm totally with you toyshirts on the marvel thing.

other than in the batman v. superman battle, where i must say, batman rules supreme.  but most other marvel ranks higher than dc for me.

I would be totally interested in Comic Book/Superhero Swap. Glad to know I'm not the only comic junkie out there ^^

And I have to say that overall I am a Marvel girl. I actually read more Darkhorse in recent years, but as a kid I was all about Marvel. I love Batman, but was never a big Superman fan.
