actually I didn't use jumprings at all. I used a pre-made chain bracelet and then I did some fun wire wrapping to attach the buttons. I put the button on a piece of wire (about 1-1 1/2 inches long) and then I crossed the two pieces over the button then I curled up one end really tight and made a loop on the other side. I tried jumprings at first but they came out all oval and messy looking so I decided that twirly jump ringish things would be better lol. I made this little diagram for you. Hope it helps!
