anyone online that has free patterns?

i've never tried a softie before so don't want to commit to buying one of those expensive Japanese books [or any book actually] just want to try it out for free first... is there any site out there?

i did a quick google search and didn't find anything good...

Is a softie the same as a stuffie?
If so, do a search of the Craftster site and you will find some patterns

Don't forget to try your local library.  The stuffies in the books they have may not be quite a cute as the Japanese patterns but are probably a good way to get started and have a go at making something!

Thrift shops can be good for 70's stuffie pattern books.
I've gotten a few great ones around here. And I've found some of the patterns are pretty basic and easily changeable.
