I painted the backgrounds with leftover fiber-reactive dye (the stuff that's used for tie-dye).  It makes insanely gorgeous colors, but you have to be careful with it once it's dry...it's harmful to your lungs.

And yeah, don't cameras just suck?  I am totally imagining them as the colors should look, don't worry!
