Can't say I'm too upset. I mean, they fired me without giving me a reason, so I bear a bit of a grudge against them. But it is a shame to see a smaller business die out because a big corporation like Michael's came in. First Maggie's and now this.

So yeah, if anyone's in Saint John and hasn't heard about it, Lewiscraft has a 70% off closing sale, so go take advantage of it!

Apparently it's nationwide... Sad
Maybe they fired you because they got bought out? Hope you find another job with a discount on craft supplies. Wink

Nah, they fired me long before this happened.

Still, I'm glad they fired me when they did. I got very few hours and there was no room for advancement. If they hadn't fired me then, I wouldn't have found the job I do now, which offers full-time hours, above minimum wage pay, and plenty of room for transfers and advancement.

I was never too fond of lewiscraft, They don't carry much in the line of jewelry making supplies, and what they do is usually over priced.  But Yay for going out of business sales!
