 Cheesy
Hello everybody!!!
Long time reader of posts on this site, first time poster!

I'm currently living in Abeno-ku, in Osaka.  Probably in acouple months I'll be moving to Takatsuki or Kyoto (closer to my job).  Since I'll be here for awhile I want to start finding some sort of crafty group to join.

Maybe a knitting class/cafe (which I saw on TV that there is one in Kyoto but I forgot where)
-I crochet mainly though, but am open to learning knitting
Scrapbooking
Recycled furniture redone...
Shops to get cheap crafty supplies (I have found two small ones here in Abeno, but they are expensive)

Or if there's anyone out there in this area, let me know!
OH, and Japanese groups are okay too - I have 2kyuu cert.

Thanks much!

Ana

I'll be in Osaka/Kyoto for April and May! I know it's not long-term but if you want to go crafty-shopping for a day maybe we can hook up. I want to stock up on fabric before heading back to Canada and I'd love an "enabler!" Grin
