Wow - Appliques !!  I haven't ever tried to do them.  Yours turned out really nice and so did your pouch.

What kind of material is your pouch made of?  wool? felt? velvet?  It looks so plush and soft.

the pouch is of canvas.  i came across quite a pile of felt and my first idea was to make either a lime or a kiwi [something in that color, to go with a bag theme idea i had] but of allllll the colors i had, i didn't have light green.  so, on to other fruits!  i want to make a strawberry, i guess i'd sew beads on for the seeds?  as far as attaching the appliques, i just used some fabri-tac, i'll see how that holds up, maybe next time i'll sew them on.

The canvas should serve you well for a long, long time.  I think you did a marvelous job with your fruits.  I really like this.  Basic style with soooo much character :-)
