It cost me about 15 dollars for the hemp and the mat together.

My sister and I like hemp (her more than me). Nice job.

first of all, I'm a long time lurker, a little over a year now, just now joining Anyway, I think this is a great idea! Next fall I'll be living in an on-campus townhouse at college. While I'm very excited about having a house, the walls are very ugly. I think this might be just the ticket to a calm and relaxing house. 

You mentioned using a sheet and perhaps adhering the mats to the sheet....I think that'd be the way to go, especially if it's only semi-permenant (I'm only there for school year). Thanks for the fabulous idea!

That rocks!  Maybe this is the solution for my office cube of doom! I would just have to subject my co-workers to the petting zoo smell for a couple of days.  But they'll get over it.  If I bring in goodies......they'll get over it REAL quick!!!!
