Hehe! I got my package from Sandylin today!

I LOVE the blue with the black! And to think I was looking at small cd binders/holder/wallets/whatever for my car today for when I listen to books on CD from the library...No need to buy one now  Smiley

I was looking at this wondering what Sandy had ment by "illusion knitting" and didn't really get it.  I was checking out my new cd when I noticed that the blue was flat in some areas and realized it made a shape of a K (the beginning letter of my name) and thought cool.  It wasn't until I was eating dinner and turned around for something and spotted my new cd wallet when I saw the black as the K! Then I was amazed and thought it was WICKED cool!  Can you see the K alright in this pic?

CD Song List:

The Idaho Falls
1.  California Day
2.  Dead Horse
3.  Maybe Tonight

The Juleps
4.  Wild Beautiful Thing
5.  Hungover Together

The Silver Jews
6.  I'm Gonna Love The Hell Out Of You
7.  Tennessee

Magnetic Fields
8.  Papa Was A Rodeo
9.  Checken With Its Head Cut Off
10.  Epitaph For My Heart

Mike Doughty
11.  Grey Ghost
12.  Madeline

Pinback
13.  Concrete Seconds
14.  Loro

Belle & Sebastian
15.  Lazy Line Painter Jane
16.  Funny LIttle Frog

Tegan & Sara
17.  Where Does The Good Go?
18.  Speak Slow

Pixies
19.  Here Comes Your Man
20.  Velouria

Let me say one more thing about  my swap partner Sandylin....she has really nice handwriting.  Seriously, it's so easy to read...there is a reason why I tend to type everything.

This has been a GREAT swap experience and I had a great swap partner so thanks Sandy! Grin

That case cover is awesome! I've always wanted to try that illusion stuff.

I received my package from Lucy Van Pelt on Wednesday!

It's a flower pin and the pin-up girl pic is the cover of the card she sent with it. I dig the CD insert too. I sent hers out yesterday. Godspeed, little package! I always seem to wait to the last minute. The music mix is awesome. Mellow enough for my crafty moods, or pretty much any mood since I normally swing towards the mellower beats.  Grin

Here's the tracklist:

1. "take me" 3kstatic featuring louise fraser
2. "love is the drug" roxy music -this song is very infectious
3. "another one bites the dust" queen gotta love a good classic
4. "hope of deliverance"- paul mcartney another one that's stuck in my head
5. "airwaves"-thomas dolby
6. "gravity never failed"- omd
7. "the way you like it"-hook the captain
8. "no new tale to tell"-love & rockets
9. "silver screen shower scene"- felix da housecat
10. "end of the reel"- 3kstatic
11. "in your eyes"- peter gabriel
12. "secret oktober"- duran duran
13 "a way"- the bolshoi
14. "chains of love"- erasure one we all know and love... at least I do
15. "no reply at all"- genesis
16. "six underground"- sneaker pimps
17. "extraordinary machine"- fiona apple she's one of my all time favorites

Love it all! Thanks, lucy!

Hi all! I know my partner recieved so I am going to take the liberty of posting my pix I took before I sent out so that she won't have to mess with it.  Smiley
I wanna say first though - I did clear with my partner first that my craft was not "small" and she was cool with that... I just don't know if she liked any of the stuff yet.
This is the entire pack 'o' goodies....

This is the barrel bag I made from some white "vinyl" and the CDs that my computer didn't burn right. I am really nervous/ anxious to see what she thinks of it. (& anyone else for that matter)

I will let my partner post the song list... I thought it would be readable in the picture but it is not readable.
