I made this vest out of mattress I found in the garbage. I cut the fabric off the top with an exacto knife. I added darts, a seperating zipper and strings of plastic pearls to embellish.

And super creative, I would never think of doing anything like that.
And to top it all off:  it acctually looks good, like really good.

thats super cool but i have to ask one thing.. you said you found the matress in the garbage i REALLY hoped you washed it first  Tongue  but besides that, that was a really cool idea ( i once made a jacket from bubble wrap - but not a nearly as wearable Roll Eyes)
