mattress vest

I made this vest out of mattress I found in the garbage. I cut the fabric off the top with an exacto knife. I added darts, a seperating zipper and strings of plastic pearls to embellish.

thats super cool but i have to ask one thing.. you said you found the matress in the garbage i REALLY hoped you washed it first    but besides that, that was a really cool idea ( i once made a jacket from bubble wrap - but not a nearly as wearable )

you're fantastic.  this is also reaffirming, since i tore off some radical brown 70s fabric off of an abandoned sofa in an alleyway, and couldn't decide if that was a gross thing to do
