Awesome!  I especially love the second bag -- I like the use of print, ribbon, and solid.  I also think the ribbon and stitching through the middle of the first bag is excellent!

Nice work.

Love the fabrics, the jacket is great, like the way you matched the pockets up on the jacket, the pockets are almost invisible.

Great job on the bags! I'm currently in the Netherlands too and with the snow the last couple of days i felt the same way, i missed springtime and started sewing some springlike colorful bags too!

I love love the fabrics you used.
I checked the link in your signature, is that your store? (I'm totally intrigued by the Plastic space age desk!)

I love your totes! Unfortunately they did not summon spring here in Amsterdam yet...just rain. We'll be patient.  Smiley

Great fabric, I love the closures on the top of your bags.  I just called my best friend in Wassenaar (the Netherlands) to bitch about the foot of snow we just got in Northern Canada, only to hear that she had snow too!

Beautiful totes!  I looove the shirt.  I appreciate the fact that the pocket fabric print lines up with the shirt front.  That took a lot of extra time and a lot more fabric, but the results are great!

Question, Kameleon:  do you sew your ribbon on or use some kind of fabric adhesive?  If you sew your ribbon, do you find that grosgrain is the best to use or does it matter?  I'm asking because everytime I've tried to sew ribbon, it a) shows my messy stitching and b)tends to fray eventually.  But at the same time sometimes those adhesives don't work well either.  Maybe the trick is to use a nice wide grosgrain?  Tips, please!

Your totes are beautiful.  I love large prints - especially floral.

Hi crystal 0901, I don't use adhesive. For sewing the ribbon i put the upper transport on my sewing machine. Also an opportunity is using Vlisofix, also usable for making applications. You can iron it on the ribbon, remove the paper and iron it on your bag. Give it a try.

they are all differnet, depends on the pattern of the fabric.

They are about :
-height 32 cm / 12.5 inches
-width  on top 41 cm / 16 inches
-depth  14 cm / 5.5 inches
-straps 68 cm  / 27 inches

Cool!  Thank you!  I like the style of your bags and I'm trying to find a nice in-between size for the pattern I have.

Thank You.... I'm very proud on my fabrics, they are all original 70's.
Last week I've bought about 100 yard of "new old stock" ribbons"... and they're so great. I love them.
