I have that dress pattern too.  I have yet to make it though. Im hoping it will be supportive enough for the girls Grin.    Anyway the number is Simplicity 4581.   Id love to see pictures if anyone else has made it.

I just tried it on and decided that I need to get a halter bra or some kinda duct tape contraption to make my boobs look less gravity struck in this dress[/font

Thanks libragirl,    The dress is wicked cute & Ive almost made it a few times.  Maybe Ill try to build a booby holder for that specific dress.   With lots of lycra & elastic Cheesy.

The sewing magazine Threads just had an incredibly great article on making built in bras.  Halter styles included.  Definately check it out, they always have great info.

I was looking at that pattern online the other day after deciding that this summer I will wear nothing but dresses that I've made myself (and maybe shrugs..since I am vehemently opposed to my arms). Anyway, I love love love that dress. Was is difficult?
I'm excited for the pictures as well!

Definately make the dress!!! The one that I made from the cream knit with the cherries fits sooooooooo well.  I am franticly search for more vintage knits to make it from. It hugs the right spots and just skims the not so great parts!!! I made it from knit so that it is a "pull on" dress instead of a zippered one. perfect for summer easy dressing.
