Awesome.......if you can recognize him, I didn't do that bad, huh???

short version of a long story. DD is a figure skater, falls on a double jump, breaks wrist. Goes to hospital, in her favorite, favorite green tee.  doc has to cut the sleeve off to get to her wrist. Sob Sob Cry Cry

I stashed the shirt away, intending to make it a short sleeved shirt instead. Then I met you guys and your wonderful tutorials......hense the stencil of her favorite jazz singer. We went to Radio City Music Hall Saturday to see him, so I thought a great way to salvage the shirt and make breaking her wrist not so bad....

THE NEW VERSION OF THE SHORT SLEEVED TEE!

thanks guys! This was also my first attempt to create my own stencil from a photo. It came out pretty descent I think. Adobe photo shop is the best...I downloaded a free 30 day trial, too bad it's soooooooo expensive to afford any other way!

oh I know, photoshop is a dream. I took advantage of my student discount and bought the creative suite. Have you tried Paint Shop Pro (if you're a windows user, unlike myself)? I think it's a bit cheaper and you can do the same stuff (in regards to stencils) with it... Smiley
