I'm loving this scarf!  It's very thick and warm Smiley
I did, however, break an F hook on the second to last row... I finished up with an E going a little loser...

The second picture is double up with both fringed sides on the right Smiley

It was kind of a flimsy plastic hook... and I may have been gripping it too tight.  The acrylic is stronger and I was used to it!

Thanks for the compliments!  I was excited to see the scarf in these colors in the book Smiley

Question.... does anyone have any tips on how to flatten out my scarf?  Can you block a crochet item like a knitted one?  Maybe steam it lightly?  It's curling around itself at the ends....
thanks! Smiley

You can block a crocheted piece, as long as the yarn isn't acrylic. There are instructions in the book. I haven't ever done any blocking, so I can't offer you any more advice on that.
Sk is definitely for skip.
Your scarf looks very nice primashonna!
