I have lots of felt scraps let over from felting sweaters, so I thought I make some coasters.  The felted sweaters are great because they repel water naturally.
I just cut out circles and then sewed some smaller circles of patterned cotton fabric on top, this stuff is some cute diner fabric.

I'd use some interfacing in between the felt and the cotton next time.

Thanks!  Yeah, I did some quilting on the top.  It seemed to help flatten the coasters a bit.
