Does anyone have advice and/or suggestions. I've heard about etsy, is that any good? Where is a good place to start? How do you start selling crafts?

Do you have a product(s) that's super? Do all your friends/relatives/associates admire your product(s), and do they/will they buy them from you? In which case my answer would be to use them as your test market. If you can get the people who know you - and should be the first ones to support you - to buy your products that could be a good indication you have something going.

Print a little business card - nothing fancy, you can get a free one from vistaprint.com - and have people you know refer you. Put them up at coffee shops, your local craft store, etc. Can you teach a class? Become an expert instantly by teaching at local shops or even through community ed, a church group, Red Hat Ladies - whatEVER. Get your name out there.
