Ive wanted a certain style bathing suit for the looongest time but I cant, for the life of me, find one in any of my local stores. I see them online but the cheapest is 40-200$ and Im not going to pay that much for it.

Here's the style Im looking for:
http://shop.store.yahoo.com/tropi-ties/esonepicuswb.html - primarily this one
http://www.jitawear.com/AdjustableBikiniBackOnePieceSwimsuit.html - this is just an example

Basically, I dont like my stomach; Im really insecure about it so this would be great. I can still look good by showing off my back but not have to worry about my belly.

Does anyone know of a pattern or have an idea as to what I can do?

I thought about cutting up a plain one-peice but I dont know exactly how it would work with all the details..

thanks for reading this!

cutting a basic leotard pattern or maillot swimsuit pattern is exactly right.  make a muslin first, in fabric that is close to the same degree of stretch as the one you want to use for your bathing suit.
