Not An Elephantine is not your usual elephantine. In fact, he is not even your usual elephant. Not An Elephantine, born and raised in the last Ice Age, has survived the various climatic changes by hiding out in the freezers of mammoth-friendly folk around the globe.

100% mohair, cotton appliques, plastic buttons.

Now, grown, and fully protected by a 100% baby soft mohair coat, Not An Elephantine feels ready to brave the unexpected, to tread new territory...step into the world outside the freezer.

*Due to the really long, fuzzy mohair strands, Not An Elephantine is not advisable as a toy for really small children.

you should. in fact, you should adopt a real animal. *not that Not an Elephantine isn't realy or anything* Cheesy but, adopt a manatee or a sheep (if you spin/knit) I REALLY want to. I mean, how cool would it be to own a sheep, and when you knit/spin, know what little freezing bum the wool is coming from?

hehe. i'm nowhere this evil, actually.

I've been considering adopting some animals but my boyfriend would disapprove of the ones that have to live in our home! He likes pets but would rather that we dont have any for the time being. A sheep would be super cool but... then I live inside the "city limits" and no farm animals allowed!

Did you knit Elephantine? I can't tell... as I dont/cant knit [only crochet] - he's super cute! Has anyone stepped up to adopt him yet? Wink

Krysta  - Not an Elephantine is actually crocheted. Knitting him would have been not too fun or exciting.
