Thanks soooo much for all the support, kind words, and interest in buying these!  you all have made me feel so happy and confident about my artwork  :0)

...

Yesterday I made a set of plates featuring beastly creatures dreaming of and savoring a variety of food:

I put a lot of work into these and I'm thinking of selling them.  What do you guys think?  Would people buy these, possibly off of Etsy?  And for how much? (I'd like to package them as a set.)  I'm working on a few more, each plate will be one of a kind.  They're dishwasher safe, and can be eaten off of, that is if the pictures don't cause a loss of appetite.   Wink  Any comments, suggestions, or criticisms would be a HUGE help.  Thanks!   Grin

What a great way to recycle all of those settings with dated patterns that you always find in thrift stores! I think you're on to something here, these are definitely sellable! I would try some boutiques or consignment shops in your area, besides trying to sell them on e-bay. Those are so cool!

wow! please sell those because I'd love to buy them! if you are unsure about what you should charge, you could always try listing them on ebay and start at a reasonable price (the least amount you'd be willing to part with, I think...I know they always say start the prices low, but you should at least make sure that if only one person bids you wouldn't be losing money) and see how it goes from there...

THOSE.    ARE.    AWESOME!!!!

It would really be a shame if you didn't get AT LEAST $25 a plate for them.  But I guess it's all about finding the right buyer.  I'd do more and shop them around to galleries rather than ebay.

I read your manifestos and strange religious tracts.  You took me to your library and kissed me in the stacks.
