I noticed that those ribbon belts are really popular...and that they are also from around $20 to about $30! that was too expensive for me, so I made my own, and it only cost $3! here it is!

if you look up ribbon belt there are a bunch of posts about them. all you do is sew two d rings onto the ribbon and on the other end of the ribbon you can either fold it over and sew it or use fray check or what my husband suggested  I do when i made mine  was melt it with a lighter.... (my husband watched way too much mcgyver as a child).

lol thats exactly how i did it! lol but yah...the ribbon was about $1.50 and the D rings were about $1.50...so $3 definitly beats $25! lol

Wow! I always new i could make one of those, i just never really thought about it.  You have inspired be to go by ribbon and make lots of belts!! Now i regret spending money on the ribbon belt i bought last week Cry But thats okay! bc I am going to make so many belts.  By the way, where did you get the d rings from?
