So my sister's 16th birthday is on the 9th and i decided to whip her up something cute for spring! she's super cute and tall and skinny, and i think this is perfect for her! so, behold, the skirt crafted from a $0.30 bedskirt and an old polo!

the skirt before (as a bedskirt)

the skirt after

(please excuse my duct tape dress form)

my home made label

the shirt before

the shirt after

this was one of the easiest projects ever! the only time consuming part was sewing all of the button holes. i also used an old tee shirt to line the skirt because it was kind of sheer.  the shirt and skirt aren't meant to go together, really. i just wanted to use those scraps. the solid green is felt.

let me know what you think!

Aww, those are way cute! Spring tennis outfit, all you need to do is add a pair of white Keds and a tennis charm bracelet to match and she's set.
